The UMR S 707, "Epidemiology, Information Systems, Modeling", headed by Guy THOMAS, was created in 2005. It has today 2 teams. The specificity of the research group is the preponderent use of the mathematics modelisation, the statistics, the computer sciences and its use of information system technologies to lead its work in the domain of epidemiology.
